Our weekly maintenance package is the most important service we
can offer our customers, since a beautiful lawn is a well-maintained
lawn. Besides just keeping your grass shorter, regular mowing is the
secret to having lush, green grass. In addition, our mulching mowers
put the clippings where they can do the most good - back in your
lawn. The clippings are full of nitrogen and other nutrients that
act as a natural fertilizer for your lawn. "But I don't want
clippings all over my lawn," you say. No problem - neither do we!
The razor-sharp blades of our mowers cut the grass clippings so fine
that all you will see is a beautifully manicured lawn, not rows of
ugly clippings.
The weekly maintenance package includes the following:
Mowing of all turf areas
Trimming all areas on your property which are not accessible
to our mowers
Edging of all walkways, driveways, and landscaping features
Blowing all clippings off of non-turf areas
Spring and Fall Cleanup
You may
have noticed that after a winter of drastic temperature
fluctuations, frost, snow, and rain, your lawn and landscape aren't
looking their best. However, now that the weather is warm again, you
want to get out and enjoy your beautiful yard - not spend hours
getting it back in shape. This is where a Spring Cleanup comes in
handy. Our Spring Cleanup will rejuvenate your lawn so that you can
enjoy that family barbeque or Easter egg hunt with the pride and
satisfaction that your property looks beautiful.
A Spring Cleanup can include any or all of the following:
Mowing of all turf areas
Trimming all areas on your property which are not accessible
to our mowers
Putting a new edge on all walkways, driveways, and flowerbeds
Blowing all clippings off non-turf areas
Trimming of all hedges and shrubs
Removal of debris (twigs, leaves, etc) from yard and
flowerbeds
Weeding of all flowerbeds
Installing fresh mulch in all mulched beds
Similar to a Spring Cleanup, a Fall Cleanup gets your property
looking its best before the harsh winter months. You may be
having family and friends coming to visit for the holidays,
but your lawn isn't exactly up to entertaining standards. A
Fall Cleanup will spruce up your property and leave it looking
ready for visitors, so that you and your guests can enjoy the
holidays.
A
Fall Cleanup can include some or all of the following:
Mowing of all turf areas
Trimming all areas on your property which are not accessible
to our mowers
Putting a new edge on all walkways, driveways, and flowerbeds
Blowing all clippings off non-turf areas
Trimming of all hedges and shrubs
Leaf removal
Weeding of all flowerbeds
Installing fresh mulch in all mulched beds
Mulch Installation
Organic mulch not only improves the appearance of your
flowerbeds and hedgerows; it helps keep them healthy.
Organic mulches will reduce soil temperatures and slow
evaporation from the soil, which conserves water. They
also add nutrients to the soil as they break down, and
reduce weeds by smothering the seeds and preventing them
from germinating. If a weed does manage to get through,
it is much easier to pull a weed out of loose mulch than
out of hard soil. The only problem with organic mulch is
that it doesn't last forever. After the mulch in your
flowerbeds has broken down, it will lose its
effectiveness and beauty and need to be replaced. We
will be happy to remove your old mulch and install a
fresh layer of new mulch to keep your plants looking and
feeling good year-round.
Hedge Trimming
Your hedges and shrubs are usually the first impression
visitors get of your property. Hopefully, your hedges
will let people know that you care about your home and
maintaining its beauty. However, that impression does
not come without work, and unfortunately, this type of
work is normally long, hot, and back-breaking. It
doesn't have to be that way, though - we actually LIKE
keeping your hedges looking beautiful! We recommend
trimming your hedges and shrubs at least 3 times each
year - at the start of the growing season, in the
middle, and at the end. Keeping your hedges regularly
trimmed will also help them reach their maximum
potential. Similar to mowing the grass, regular trimming
of your hedges will allow them to grow back thicker and
healthier than they were before.
Overseeding
Overseeding is essentially planting a new lawn right over your
existing lawn. Overseeding doesn't disturb your existing
grass; it simply adds more seed to it. If you have a new
construction home and a brand new yard, overseeding is perfect
for you. It helps fill in the gaps in your lawn where the
original grass just didn't grow in right. Overseeding isn't
just for new lawns though - it is a good thing to do for any
lawn that just needs a little boost. Aerating and overseeding
often go together in order to reap the maximum benefits from
both services. Fertilization is also recommended with
overseeding to give the grass seed the best chance of
survival. Once your lawn has been overseeded, it is extremely
important that you water regularly in order to allow the grass
to germinate.
Sod Installation
Sometimes waiting for grass to grow just takes too long! If you
would like a beautiful lawn without the waiting, then sod may be the
perfect solution. It can turn your yard from brown and patchy to
lush and green in as little as one day! Sod is ideal for new
construction homes, as well as homes where the grass has died or the
seed never came up. As with overseeding, proper watering techniques
must be observed after the sod is installed in order for the sod to
take.
Landscape Upgrades
Would you like a new flowerbed? Remove an old one? Plant a tree?
Does your landscape need a facelift? Are you moving and wish to
increase curb appeal? Do you want to add interest with some outdoor
lighting? From planting flowers to designing entire landscapes, we
are happy to improve the appearance of the exterior of your home.
Even if you're not exactly sure what needs to be done to make your
house into your dream home, give us a call - consultations are free!
Holiday Lights
If you love the look of your house lit up for the holidays, but
you hate the task of actually putting up the lights, we have the
solution! Just tell us where you would like your lights to go, and
then sit comfortably inside with a mug of hot cider while we climb
ladders outside in the cold. The end result will be a cheerfully lit
house without the risk of frostbite or broken bones. Then, when you
are ready to say goodbye to the holidays and hello to the new year,
give us a call and we will come and take down the lights.
Gutter Cleaning
During the year, debris can fill up and clog your gutters. From
leaves and twigs to trash thrown up by the neighborhood kids, it's
amazing how much gutters can accumulate. If your gutters are
clogged, rain will not drain properly. It can sit stagnantly and
slowly rot away your roof, or it can gush over the sides with a
waterfall effect that will run whatever lies below, be it flowerbeds
or the driveway. The decaying debris can even rot away the gutters
themselves, requiring you to spend extra money and energy replacing
your gutters. All this can be prevented by cleaning out your gutters
every year or two. We recommend checking to see if your gutters need
to be cleaned at the end of each fall.
Pressure Washing
Dirt and grime can build up in all sorts of places, making your
house look dingy. The simple solution to making your property look
new again is pressure washing. Pressure washing uses high-pressured
water to remove dirt and stains. Since it is chemical free, it is
safe to use on every hard surface on your property, including
driveways, sidewalks, siding, brick, decks, patios, and pool areas.
Pressure washing can be done at any point throughout the year.
